The survey results from campaign CODĚLAT.CZ (target group - university students)
(2. 10. 2012) – A survey of knowledge and preparedness to deal with emergencies was organized by Centrum pro bezpečný stát z.s. and supported by Institut ochrany obyvatelstva Lázně Bohdaneč (IOOLB – Public protection institute LB). This survey was arranged in May and June 2012 on a significant sample of 960 respondents (university students). 50 thousands of students were addressed by campaign CODELAT.CZ
(26. 6. 2012) – Centrum pro bezpečný stát z.s. had terminated the competition for university students. 50 thousand of “112” cards was handed during the public educative campaign. Students from seventy faculties were addressed by this event. A survey arranged during this campaign will be evaluated and published to public and emergency services. For pupils and students

(2. ledna 2012) - (2. 1. 2012) – Centrum pro bezpečný stát z.s. has become a partner of project “Electronic textbook”, which should bring a new, modern way of education for students. "Within the partnership we will bring electronic version of our successful publication -What to do … (pocket guide to crisis situation home and abroad) We would like to compensate the lack of this topic in education curriculum.” says Zdeněk Rathauský (CEO Centrum pro bezpečný stát o.s.). Minister of the interior award for security research
(5. 12. 2011) – Minister of Interior Jan Kubice awarded the first Award for excellent results in security research. Prize went to Public protection Institute Lázně Bohdaneč GŘ HZS research team. For more information click HEREHERE (available only in czech)..

 

Visit of Brusel institutions  

(6.- 8. 6. 2011) – During the visit of Brussels headquarters of European Commission and other institutions a meeting between Zdeněk Rathauský (CEO Centrum pro bezpečný stát o.s.) and ambassadress in EU Milena Vicenová was organized. The meeting was a discussion about many different topics including usage of European Structural Funds, preparing new planning period and the discussion with representatives of the Department for the European satellite navigation program Galileo about its impact on security and Czech Republic participation.

INTERVENTION 2011 – Jihlava

(1. 6. 2011 – Jihlava) Conference of rescue and security services and self-governments was held as part of the „Bridge to partnership“ project at the University of Polytechnics Jihlava. The conference was framed as an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary forum for free discussion of public administration managers, rescue and security services, self-governments of the Czech Republic, academics and specialists from practice. Centrum pro bezpečný stát o.s. handed all conference participants a small gift – a publication "What to do – pocket guide to crises situation home and abroad"

Citizens are better prepared
(23. 11. 2011) Centrum pro bezpečný stát z.s. has asked general director of HZS ČR major-general Ing. Miloslav Štěpán to look back on IZS and its public reaction during this year’s floods. Full interview HERE.

Little dragon Ohníček and three elements

Centrum pro bezpečný stát o.s. in cooperation with HZS created a coloring book for children. The coloring book is basically a fairytale narrated by little dragon Ohníček. There are three curious friends – Fire, Flood and Wind. Children can learn how to recognize safe and dangerous usage of fire, water and wind and also they can learn rules of behaving during emergencies. This coloring book was distributed into 52 nurseries. The idea is that children should memorize the emergency number 112 in their childhood.

Vysočina region safely - 2010

In early September traffic event “Vysocina region safe on the roads” traditionally begins. This event is organized by regional Police directorate at Vysocina under the patronage Vysocina governor MUDr. Jiri Behounek and in cooperation with Sunoco Racing Team, RallyVysocinu club, STK Okrisky and other organizations. Centrum pro bezpecny stat o.s. is a partner of this event as well as last year’s event. For more information click  HERE.

Roundtable on databoxes
(5. 11. 2009) Centrum pro bezpecny stat o.s. organized round table discussion on the topic of Data Boxes as an important part of the project “datapilot09”. Discussion took place in the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. The objective was to exchange experiences from the start and the first days of operation of Data Boxes and opinions their further development. For more information click HERE. 


Firefighters, policemen and even rescuers have a big problem to get to place of intervention because of wrongly parked cars. This problem is the worst in housing estates, where not enough parking spaces are available. Rescuers appeal to everyone: everyone can find himself in a situation where he will need a help from firefighters, rescuers or policemen! Civic association is registered by the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic under No. VS/1-1/70 120/08-R

Main objectives arising from statutes of the association:

  • public educational campaigns, educational and preventive events for public and local governments,
  • communication improvement between public and local or state authorities including IZS units,
  • informational service improvement for public and local governments,
  • applied research to gain new knowledge and skills in civil protection, crisis management and crisis infrastructure.
